  • Unlock Maximum Value

Collectors consistently pay a 6X+ premium for AMG-graded vinyl over raw, ungraded copies of the same pressing. A grade turns subjectivity into certainty.

  • Preserve for Decades

Our patent-pending case is sonically sealed and tamper-evident — the moment your record is graded its condition is locked in, and any attempt to open it is immediately visible.

  • Display with Pride

AMG cases are engineered to display your vinyl on a shelf or hanging on the wall. Turn your most prized pressings into the centrepiece of any room.

Industry-Leading Slabs

AMG's patent-pending case is the most advanced encapsulation system in music collectibles. Sonically sealed and tamper-evident, it locks in your record's condition the moment it's graded — any attempt to open the case is immediately visible, giving buyers complete confidence in what they're purchasing. The case accommodates 7" and 12" vinyl, gatefolds, and box sets, and sits flush on any shelf or display stand.

Unmatched Display Options

Every format of vinyl has a home in an AMG case. Standard 7" and 12", limited-edition gatefolds, picture discs, colored pressings, double albums — our cases are engineered to fit them all without modification. Display options include wall hanging, shelf standing, and flat display. Many collectors use their AMG-graded records as focal points in listening rooms, studios, and home offices. Because the case is crystal-clear on all sides, your vinyl is fully visible from every angle.

Every Pressing. Every Format.

AMG grades all vinyl formats and pressings. Standard 12" LPs, 7" singles and 45s, 10" records, picture discs, colored vinyl, promo copies, test pressings, and box sets — if it's a vinyl record, we can grade it. We also grade signed copies, combining our authentication expertise with a grading assessment to give signed pieces a comprehensive certification.

Vinyl Grading — Common Questions

Standard turnaround is 30 business days from the day we receive your submission. Expedited options are available at checkout if you need your records back sooner.

Yes. AMG grades sealed records — the sealed condition is itself a grading factor. We will not break the seal. The record is assessed in sealed condition and graded accordingly.

If a record fails AMG's authentication process, AMG will return the album to you ungraded. Customers are charged 50% of the grading fee when an album fails the authentication check.

Yes. We can authenticate autographs on vinyl covers and inserts in conjunction with our standard grading service. The grade report will note the autograph and its authentication status.

Use stiff cardboard record mailers — purpose-built LP mailers are available online for under $2 each. Place the record (still in its inner sleeve) inside the outer sleeve, then slide the whole package into the mailer. Please include the AMG packing slip available from your Orders section of your AMG account online inside the package. We recommend USPS Priority Mail or UPS for domestic US shipments. International customers should use tracked courier services.

We handle every item with professional care, but we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for any record valued over $100. Once your submission is received, your items are held securely at our grading facility.
